The idea of this page is to serve as a Wunderkammer of interesting things I find surfing the net as well as in my life that I would hate to lose for some reason or another. I don't know how well this will work.
CD from a free table labeled "Tom's MP3s" which contains neatly organised folders of music pirated between 1999-2002 from a particular site (go back and check). Might record full tracklist here for posterity? A few songs are mislabeled.
Explicit Fafhrd/Grey Mouser fanfiction posted February 21, 2004. One of those cool little pieces of history. Incredible grasp of Leiberian dialogue. "Look you what I have caught, Mouser!"
My favourite costume pattern book.
Isaac Bonewits' site, neopagan.net. Web design to sigh dreamily over and look out to sea regarding.
2003 Geocities column where a prog rock fan (me?) with an attachment to Christopher Lee (me??) recounts the plot of Eddison's masterwork the Worm Ouroboros (me???) according to his interpretation whereby all the characters have unexamined homoerotic desire for one another. Appropriate degree of respect for the noble philosopher prince Lord Gro.
Above: a VHS tape which did not contain The Matrix: Reloaded. Archive of The Dionaea House that I was really excited to find. "House that's evil" is quite old news by now and I don't even mean the house kind - there are a lot of weird similarities to the part of The Doomed City where comrade Voronin is looking for the mysterious moving building? But there's a special valence to hypertext horror because there could be anything behind that link!!! Ted the Caver uses this to great effect but I'm not linking to that it would be redundant and silly.

Going to start dating these now, and the fact that I was not doing so prior makes it seem like the clock that produces time only just started working. Which is cool. Maybe will go back and add dates if I can find proof I was doing a certain thing on a certain day. Anyway I am a total fraud!!! I failed to link my FAVOURITE WEBSITE OF ALL TIME which is a defunct Lord of the Rings costuming site active predominantly around the time of the films' release. Fantastic guides for finding patterns and fabrics, fantastic costume galleries, and excellent resources regarding the characters' costumes for those interested in reproducing them. I have been referencing this very very very very heavily as I slowly put together my Feanor costume. Bought the out of print Simplicity 9891 on their recommendation (thanks ladies) and then after making it a few times referenced the Arwen chase dress tutorial to turn it into a front-opening robe. Coolest place on the net. So many elves.
